“An Otherworldly experience...”

—New York Times

Neon Green Man
Established in 2008, the Green Man night club remains one of the top hot spots in the Mission District. With a themed atmosphere that borrows from ancient Celtic Mythology and the Dark Arts, the Green Man is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. Visitors come from around the world to visit its Gothic atmosphere and sample its decadent delights.

Fountain
This sanguine fountain stands prominently next to the bar and is a favorite among patrons. Blood-red liquid flows freely from the chalice upheld by an ancient witch and wizard, never touching, never kissing, never quenching their insatiable thirst. The Green Man’s most famous cocktail, Blood of the Innocents, once filled their goblet. Since Covid-19, revelers can no longer dip their glasses directly into the fountain to sample this delectable drink. It is still available from the bar along with other themed cocktails sure to satisfy the most unquenchable thirst.

Neon Green Man

Legend has it that an ancient wizard named Rowan got trapped in his magic wand fourteen centuries ago and still remains there to this day. His wife has searched for him across the ages but has yet to find him. Dark magic has kept her alive and “Blood of the Innocents” has kept her young. She will never give up as long as she walks the earth.

Rowan of the Wood’s story became intertwined with the myth of the Celtic Green Man. The tragedy of the man enveloped in a tree and his fallen Green Lady is the inspiration behind this night club’s theme.
